The Pine-Wood “Knot a” Derby Axe Throwing Challenge Player Team Fee $100 per Person
The event starts on March 24th, 2020. It is a five day event.
The (16) 2 player teams will compete for a $500 dollar prize and Grand Champion Trophy. We are using a double elimination bracket method to keep track of the winners and losers. Everyone will lose twice except the winner. The first noght we will go over all the rules and details. Below is a schedule for the event. March 24th- 7pm until 9pm
We will draw opponents the first night. A rule and game play seminar will take about 20 minutes. Then we start. Day one is everyone playing one game. This will create our Winner and Loser brackets.
March 25th- 7pm until 8:30pm
Night two is the first group of winners playing. Our games are about accuracy and having the most points at the end of the game.
March 31st- 7pm until 8:30
Night three is the first two groups of loser bracket players. Then the following night we have the next Loser bracket players come out.
April 1st- 7pm until 8:30pm
Night 4 is the last loser brackets playing. This night we have two groups play for the 2nd place team to then play against the number 1 team
April 7th- 7pm until 9pm
The final night. Our last two remaining teams will play each other until we have a winner. If the winner of the winners bracket loses the first game they play against the winners of the losers bracket they get to play again. Last team standing wins! We reserve the right to cancel the event without notice.
If less than 10 teams join to play, the event will be canceled and fees will be refunded.
Once the Tournament starts there are no substitutions allowed. That includes throwing for your own teammate. No shows will be counted as a loss for whole team.
